What is the wattage of this power adaptor? Can this be plugged in a 100w car inverter socket? Our medela freestyle car adaptor is not working.

Asked by: Rmml
Hi Rmml--- The wattage is calculated by the input voltage multiplied by the current rating. The output of our Freestyle Power Supply is 12 watts. The input is 100-240V, 50/60 Hz We don't have details on whether it can be plugged into a 100W car inverter socket, since it has not been tested for that purpose. We recommend using our 12V Portable Vehicle Adaptor found here: http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/products/357/12v-portable-vehicle-adaptor. If you have any other question, please live chat with us on our website. We'd be happy to help!

If I purchase the Madela Freestyle in Australia, it'll come with the Aus plug-in. But can I just purchase the US plug-in for when I'm in the states? Or are they not interchangeable?

Asked by: Court32
Yes, the U.S. Freestyle Power Adapter can be purchased once in the U.S. in order to use your Freestyle in the U.S. Have a great day!

i got the medela freestyle with the adapter  it’s written 110-220  can i use it in united arab emirates?

Asked by: amna
Hi Amna--- You'll need to check into the voltage for the United Arab Emirates. Our Freestyle Power Adapter can be used with up to 220V. If UAE uses between 110V and 220V, then you should be able to use it. Have a great day!

Is there a difference bewteen the single pump and double pump charger?

Asked by: J-jay
Yes, the charger for our Swing Single Breast Pump is only intended for use with the Swing. Our double breast pumps will require different power adapters depending on which specific double breast pump you have. We have a Pump in Style Advanced power adapter that can also be used with our Advanced Personal Double Breast Pumps, a Sonata Power Adapter, and a Freestyle Power Adapter. If you have any other questions, our team is happy to help via live chat on our website!

I need a charger for my Freestyle. When I open the back panel, the label says (VDC)12, but when I look on the actual battery it says 7.2 VDC. Will this charger work?

Asked by: A.D.
To be frank I wouldn’t use any other charger other than the Freestyle charger meant to be used with the pump. I when I needed one I ordered it directly from the mfg. there is a general rule of thumb about vdcs you can find on the internet, but as expensive as this is, it might be a risk. Also in trying different chargers before buying one - none worked.
