Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are a Must Have! I’ve been buying these for several years now and I’ve used them for everything I need to “de-germify” from breast pump parts, bottles, binkies, hairbrushes & combs and medication dispensing syringes & cups. (*some syringes say Do Not Sterilize right on them).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It ruined my bottles I am feeling very frustrated because I purchased these bags and used them for the first time last night. I made the unfortunate discovery today that my bottle warped and the bottom is now a rounded shape amd it won't stand up. I haven't even checked to see how many other bottles suffered the same fate. Definitely not what i was expecting from these steam bags.

I used the bags to clean all of my pump accessories and two bottle, but noticed that one of the bottles now has some give to it. I think I may have overfilled the bag and am now wondering if these bottles are safe and if the milk contaminated. thank you!

When should I sanitize parts? Immediately after washing or before use? We have spare parts and it may be a few days between when items are used. Note, they are always immediately washed or put in the fridge until that day’s diahwasher cycle.

Asked by: 1stTimeMom
We recommend washing the parts immediately after use and not placing them in the fridge. Doing so could potentially damage your parts and affect the performance of your breast pump. Once the parts are washed, they can be sanitized immediately after or prior to using them. It is ultimately up to you. We just recommend ensuring that they are sanitized at least once daily when in use. Please feel free to reach out to our team via chat on our website if you have any further questions. Have a great day!

Can I use this for colostrum collection &a storage containers? And for their nipples?  I would like to know how to clean the colostrum collection & storage countainers to reuse.

Asked by: Jasmine - mom
Yes, they can be used to sanitize the Medela colostrum containers and Medela feeding nipples. You'll want to ensure that you rinse the containers with cold clean water, then wash and scrub them with warm soapy water, and rinse them again with cold clean water. They can then be placed into the Quick Clean Micro-Steam Bags for sanitizing. You'll want to ensure to follow the instructions on the bags.
