Will this adapter now work for dual power, 110-240v? I read that Medela recently made a new power adaptor starting in June 2019 that works for dual voltages... Thanks!

Asked by: sln2111
That's a great question! This specific power adapter is not dual voltage. If you are looking for our new Pump in Style Advanced Power Adaptor, Dual-voltage, 110-240V (item number 101036640), it can be found here: https://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/products/1035/pump-in-style-advanced-power-adaptor-dual-voltage-110-240v If you have any questions, please reach out to us via live chat on our website. Can I use this adapter with a medela freestyle? If I were to, is there any concern?

Asked by: SarahDhali
We do not recommend using this adapter with your Medela Freestyle Breast Pump. The voltage differs and could potentially damage your products. Our Freestyle should only be used with the following adapter: http://www.npinumberlookup.org/ Please consider reaching out to our team via chat on our website if you have any other questions. I bought medela pump in USA , traveling to ethiopya. i need converter or I can use same adapter. Thanks

Asked by: wazaa0980
If you travel anywhere with 220 voltage, you'll need a voltage converter/transformer to use along with this pump because it is a single voltage device (it's plug does not convert voltage like many modern appliances). Medela pump is 18 watts, so you'll need a converter of at least 50-60 watts.

I bought medela pump in style advanced from USA n used it in India. the adapter is gone after the plug in. how should I use it in india. What kind of adapter should be used.

Asked by: Vamsi
Hi, you need a power converter (transformer) to use it in india. I bought this before and went to the Philippines. They have 220v while this Medela adapter is 120v. I plug the medela adapter to the transformer and the transformer will then be plugged ditectly to the power outlet. :) with that you can avoid breaking your medela adapter.

i have a medela double electric pump, the adapter i accidentally plug in a 220v,it burn.. will it affect also the machine itself?

Asked by: jenny123
Hi Jenny123--- We have a few different double electric breast pumps. If it was used with the Pump in Style Advanced specifically, then we would have to say that it is difficult to determine the affect that it may have on it. It could potentially cause damage to the breast pump, which is why we would only recommend using it in the appropriate wall outlet, with our 8-count Battery Pack, or 9V Portable Vehicle Adapter. Please consider chatting with us on our website if you have any additional questions. We'd be happy to help!

Hi can this adapter work with the pump in style advance backpack for use in Singapore? Thanks.

Asked by: Jenny2627
Hi Jenny2627--- No, it would not. The only methods that we recommend for powering your Pump in Style Advanced when outside of the US would be the 8-Count Battery Pack or 9V Portable Vehicle Adapter. We do not recommend using this wall adapter, a converter, or a universal power adapter. Please consider chatting with us on our website if you have further questions.
