Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I’ve used these in the past and needed to get stocked back up. This product is so convenient for busy moms trying to pump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use They’re very easy to use and store. The only complaint I have is that they are not accurate in the amounts. I often have to pour the milk into a bottle and then into another bag to store so I know how much I’m freezing at a time. Minor problem in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great bags I purchased these bags just to test them out. As a 3rd time mom, I did appreciate the convenience it provided for me to pump and measure out for my newborn. The concept and bags are great. The only two downfalls are that they are not found in any stores I have gone to after my initial purchase. The second being that they are very pricey. They go for between $8 to $11 for a pack of 20. As a mom of 3 thats expensive especially when other milk storage bags cost about $8-$13 for packs of 50 or 100 milk storage bags. Its both discouraging and upsetting to not be able to afford these bags that help me so much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pros and cons While I love the fact that these storage bags attach to my pump and save me on cleaning bottles, they don't freeze very flat and take up more space.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible bags These bags are no good. Maybe we got a defective batch becuase every bag leaked from an opening at the bottom of the bag. But despite the leak, these bags do not pour well into bottles. Lots of wasted milk with these storage bags. We will not buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Upset Since I have started pumping these have been the only bags Iwould pump with. Starting the last 2 weeks I have not been able to find these in my local store which have made my last couple of pumping sessions more stressful. I'm hoping this can be put back in the stores

Can you write on these bags with a sharpie so you know the date and time of pumped milk?

Asked by: elizabeth191
Of course. I use a sharpie to indicate, in addition to the date and time, the amount pumped in the bag as well. It was helpful as I freeze my milk, and this is helpful when you defrost not to defrost too much

I bought the Medela Sonata and a ton of Medela pump and save bags. Is there a trick to get the bags to attach to the pump? Everything I have read says they are not compatible with the Sonata but I have so many bags that I have to make this work.

Asked by: LaurenS
The EASIEST answer: Just pump into the bottle and then pour it into the bag!  If you’ve got to pump directly into the bag... I still think you can make this work - so long as the sucking action isn’t reliant on a sealed bottle attached. I forgot the special adapter piece for my bags several times and was able to rig it up with a rubber band through the holes. I’ve used tape to hold them on also. It’s a bit tedious, and a bit risky...that bag falls and your milk is gone! But it is possible!  Try out a few things before you actually try to pump into them.

Are these bags recommend for a one time use or can they be washed and reused?
