Hello Lena, I have stored milk in the freezer in bottles, and I think it can stay in bottles for almost as long as bags. The good thing about the bags is that they eliminate contact with air which avoids freezer burn.

I like to just put the connectors in a plastic bag in my portable cooler until I get home and can wash them. You can use the wipes for the parts you can reach and the shields. This saves me valuable minutes!

Hi there, it depends on how tight it looks when you are pumping. If it is pretty tight, I would go up 2 sizes. Have you seen:

There is another issue with stored breast milk which is the enzyme lipase which breaks down fats. If there is ''too much,'' it can make the milk have a funny taste/smell, but this is not a sour milk smell, more like a metallic odor. From what I have read, they last about 1 year of heavy use, so it sounds like you have gotten good use of it. Check the power cord as well--does it look too twisted, worn, or ''bent?'' I had to buy a new power cord for mine. Good luck! It's still a great investment if you need a new one, compared to formula.
