Baby's 6th month chec-up

We are going to visit our doctor soon and i didn't decide yet if i should get a flu vaccination for my child. Does anyone know if its ok, is it too early for baby, should i wait when she gets a little older? And what else should i expect from that visit? why some women don't have a nipple problem?

My friend has just delivered her first baby and she said she has NO problem with breastfeeding. Well, of course i am very happy for them but still....i've been (until now) through soooo much pain and sometimes i just get angry and asking myself WHY? Why some women do not have nipple problems....do they prepare their nipples before their children ...

Re: Cleaning Nipple Shields

sorry about that. Maybe you try to wash them just before you start feeding your baby. That's what i do, i wash with soap and rinse it with hot boiled water just before feeding and it stickes perfectely. But sometimes i support with my hands the shield, just to make sure that it's not moving or blocking baby's nose.  Hope it will help. Good luck!
