Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these hydrogel pads These gel pads were amazing when I started to breastfeed. My nipples were so sore the first two weeks and lanolin wasn’t doing anything. These reusable pads offered great relief and unlike the previous review did not hurt when I took them off. I would highly recommend them for nursing mothers. The hospital nurses actually recommended them to me and gave me my first pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than nipple cream This got me through the first two weeks of breastfeeding when my nipples were cracked and bleeding. I love how they get cold again while I am nursing my newborn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when starting to breast feed Good alternative along with lanolin for sore breast and nipples. Best to change them after a shower, they do come off during showering. I did not wet before using as listed on instructions since lessens adherence but if too sticky or hurt breasts then dampen first. Great for inital breast feeding and feel cool.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Feels so good! My nipples were cracked and in pain with every session. These are amazing. The cool feeling is great. I thought it would only be soothing for between sessions, but wow do they work. After the day was over, my cracks were gone and I felt a lot of relief. The only downside I see is the price and how they really do not last much over 24 hours. IF only used once in a while then great, but if used daily, you'd be better off just paying to use formula.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! My nipples were cracked from latching issues with my son. I didn't think anything would help but had seen these in the store and decided to try them. They are amazing, within hours of using them I noticed a big change and felt relief. Within 24hours my nipples were healed. Totally worth it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok This product is more convenient then holding an ice pack to your nipple. Hydrogel cooling pads are successful in providing immediate relief. The adhesive hurts when removing, especially if your nipples are cracked. Since this products purpose is to provide relief for sensitive nipples, when removing it just adds to the pain. Overall it helps with nipple relief just be cautious when removing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok product I bought these because of the good reviews but I personally wasn't impressed. Yes, they provided some cooling relief. I stored them in the fridge as suggested and used them for the amount of time recommended. I just didn't think they were worth the price. I couldn't afford to keep them on hand every time I needed them.

Since they're reusable, how many uses can one get out them before it's ineffective?

Asked by: Linders01
We recommend replacing them after 24 hours of use or once the pad becomes milky or cloudy; whichever occurs first. The length of time before it becomes milky or cloudy can vary greatly based on each mom's body. We don't have an exact time frame for that.
