Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING for on the road! These work great on my 16 hour car drives to visit family. I don't have to worry about washing or sanitizing pump parts, the quick wipes do it all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super helpful when baby is fussy These have really been a lifesaver when my baby won’t let me leave her side to go wash stuff but it’s time to pump! Also a big help if I’m really exhausted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't have exclusively pumped without these! I LOVE these wipes. It was so nice to pump in public and just clean the parts right then and there. The wipes cleaned so well and I was so happy to not have breast milk everywhere after I pumped. Don't know what I would'be done without them!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible I have needed to use these wipes a couple times, in a pinch when there is no water available. They might get the parts clean, but after use the accessories don’t work until I was them again. Not convenient at all and very frustrating when you need to pump and the accessories don’t work because you cleaned them with these. Don’t waste your money.

Do these wipes have an expiration date? My friend gave me some that she didn't use from an earlier pregnancy. I wasn't sure how to read the code on the wipe packets.

Asked by: Jkenn
That's a great question! Our Quick Clean Breast Pump & Accessory Wipes do not have an expiration date.

Hello, I am using these at work to clean my pump parts between pumping. I rinse the parts with water, dry them with a towel & then wipe them with a Medela wipe. When I go to pump again in a couple hours do I need to rinse the parts first with water?

Asked by: Newworkingmom
If you have allowed the parts to fully air dry between that time, then they do not need to be rinsed again. They need to be allowed to air dry for at least 10 minutes otherwise they should be rinsed prior to using them.

Am I right that these would work well for shields, valves and membranes but poorly for connectors due to inner surfaces that are inaccessible? Thus, for travel with limited tap/sink access, pack multiple clean connectors but one of all the rest?

Asked by: kit3338
It is ultimately up to each customer to determine what works best for them. Some may find themselves having access to water and are able to pour some into the connector and then wipe it down with the wipes, while others may prefer to have a separate set of connectors. We suggest following the routine that works best for you. Please consider chatting with us on our website if you have any questions. We're here to help!

Is it safe to just rinse inside of the connector with water or would it need to be properly sterilised as I’ve always thought babies should only drink cool boiled water? Might sound daft but if they are not meant to drink tap water is it safe for rinsing?

Asked by: Townsend_MummyOfTwo
We recommend using drinking quality water when washing and rinsing the breast pump parts. For many parents, their tap water may be considered drinking quality. Not using drinking quality water will leave mineral deposits behind in the form of small white spots. These can be similar to the ones sometimes left behind after washing glassware. The mineral deposits are not toxic. We recommend washing the parts after every use and sanitizing them once a day. Can they be used to wipe down the insides of the bottles used to pump in as well?

Asked by: Goaty
Hi Goaty--- Great question! Yes, these can be used to clean the inside of the bottles. The bottles can then be used to pump breast milk into them. You'll want to ensure that you wipe the surface with the towelette and then allow the surface to air dry for 10 minutes prior to using. If you wish to use the bottles/parts immediately after wiping them, then you'll want to rinse the breast milk bottles/parts with water after you've wiped them. Let us know if you have any other questions! We're available to help via chat on our website as well.
