Hi. Just wondering why you recommend to change the inserts every 12 hours. Is there some evidence behind that? Best regards, Ingunn

We use the milk warmer in our NICU without reported problems. Our Pediatric and PICU nurses have complained that the warmer "takes forever" to thaw frozen milk. Th said it takes 1minute for each ml of milk. Is this true? Any suggestions?

Asked by: Kathy
The Waterless Milk Warmer thaws< 120 mL in 22 minutes or less. Temperatures for thawing are based on thoroughly frozen milk with an initial starting milk temperature of -20 °C. Variations to the final temperature may result if the starting temperature deviates from these recommended storage conditions. If this is not the case, we would suggest completing the temperature test procedure found in your technical guide. If you need additional assistance, please consider chatting with us on our website or calling 1-800-435-8316.
