Congratulations with the second baby !
I don't know if it's true or not but lot's of my friends told me that with a baby girl mother gains more weight comparing to baby boy....?! honestly i don't know if it's true but you never know.
My body started to shrink a little bit when my baby turned 9-10 months....nature works! But also I have tried to sit on a diet for 2 weeks. That was the hardest time for me....and of course my breast milk was reduced too but at the end I have lost 10-12 lbs. I understood one thing: there's no need to be on some super diet or exercise every day....just eat healthy food that's it....HEALTHY FOOD! That means no fast food...no burgers....no french fries...instead eat homemade soups, fruits, boiled vegies, cheese (not on bread but seperate), whole grains....and lots of water => all these will keep you in good shape and it's a source of nutrition for baby growth and for breatmilk production. I have learned a lesson....and with the next pregnancy I know what to eat.
Of couse when you are expecting its like an excuse to eat whatever you want...that's what i did to myself....but after you have a baby....you start thinking about getting back to your previous shape asap. So, if you eat right way in the beginning it would be easier later on and u'll get rewards !
