My little one is 17 weeks old and I exclusively breastfeed. She started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks. I started my period at 15 weeks (yippee) and noticed not too long after that I began losing a lot of hair! I know it's normal to "shed" after birth, but really...how much is too much!?!?!? It's not coming out in clumps...or I'd be going to the Dr instead of writing this, but I was curious if anyone else thought they were losing a lot of hair!

I get a lot of hair in my brush when i brush it, more than I did prior to getting pregnant.  My baby is 5 months old, and still no period (thankfully, LOL), so I don't know what to make of mine either...

I have noticed the loss of hair, too, after the birth of my child. This could be the result of shifts in hormones from pregnancy. Also, have you had your thyroid checked? One symptom of hypothyroidism is the loss of hair in addition to other symptoms like dry skin, constipation, etc. Note that not all those with hypothyroidism experience the same symptoms. In addition, after pregnancy it is not uncommon for the thyroid to act up. I hope this helps!
