Continuing Education Credits for Donor Milk: The Documentary
Medela is partnering with King West Pictures and local milk banks to increase awareness of milk banks and the value of breastmilk feeding for preterm babies. The collaborators will launch the film screening series in summer 2012 to showcase families helping to provide the life-saving benefits of breastmilk including to preterm babies in neonatal instensive care units (NICU).
The $25 ticket includes a viewing of the 50-minute documentary and a one-hour Q&A session and reception featuring the filmmakers representatives from the local milk bank, as well as a donor of breastmilk and recipient of donor milk. Proceeds from the night’s event benefit the local milk bank.
