My milk came in late and then my supply was low because my baby had jaundice and had to be put under lights for those critical beginning days. I feared greatly that my supply would never recover. Fortunately my hospital provided me with my Lactina and if it would have been available to purchase, this is the one I would have bought. It saved my breastfeeding experience.

DH works for a medical company and was able to supply us with this pump to have and I loved it! worked great, got the job done fast, and really helped to get a good supply going. Everywhere we went (Pedi, and Lactation Consultants) people were amazed at how awesome our pump was and asked my DH for his card so they could share with others too. I also really like the convenience of the pump; how it could be manual, electric, or we even got a cord to use it in the car on long trips and what not. I think it could also be battery operated, but we never needed to do that? Anyways, overall really loved the pump and would suggest it to everyone! : )

I own a pump style in advance which works very well and when my son came home from the hospital after a brain bleed he would no longer latch so i was able to rent this pump which is like a pump style in advance on steroids!

I used this pump back in 2007 when I had my son. I had all intentions of exclusively breast feeding, but when he wouldn't latch and I had issues do to my inverted nipples life took a different turn. I rented this pump and used it for 2 months at home. Cost me about $40 per month. I was glad to have it when I had to used it only becuz my son developed thrush from me (of course!!). I would love to rent this again when my new little one (due 9/1/12) comes but I am actually looking to buy one from Medela. I highly recommend this for people who need to rent one. It worked great for me.

i used this for a week but then got my baby to latch, it worked well!

I'm sure I am partly to blame for this but my use of this pump was TERRIBLE! I rented it a week after I gave birth 8.2010 because my son wouldn't latch right. It was just an awful experience. The machine wouldn't either pump right or would pump too hard. I will not be renting this one with my next 7.2012, that is a guarentee.
