I loved these! I am pregnant again and they are a must have for the hospital bag. I store them in a plastic soap container, which you can find at any drug store in the traveling section and it worked beautifully. I highly recommend!!

I used these in 2007 when my son was born. I had inverted nipples and he wouldn't latch. The hospital gave me these to help and boy did they ever. I will admit that havign to use them is a gigantic pain, only cuzI dont want to have tow worry about putting them on and placing them right for baby to latch. But when they are the only thing that will let you breastfeed, it is worth the hassle. I do wish they made a holder for these for in the diaper bag. I kept mine in a plasti c baggy and still ended up havign to buy several more. And these are not cheap! Over all I reccomend highly.

My baby is 5 mths old and we have happily been using this product since she was 1 1/2 days old. I was recommended it by our health nurse and again by my lactation consultent, and have had no problems with my milk flow slowing down as I heard could be the case with using the shield. Only slight draw back is having something extra to sterilize in the kitchen, but there would be alot more to sterilize if I had to use bottles and formula!

This product helped me tremendously! My newborn was able to latch on with this product, I also am a 36FF before my milk came in, and this has helped my baby not get overwhelmed with the size of my breasts. She is only 11 days old today, but I am hoping that with the use of the shield, my nipples will begin to take a form that this product will not be needed forever. Regardless, I know I owe much of my success thus far to the shield.

This works wonderfully. I wear size 40F bra and have very small nipples. This helped let me nurse my daughter. She tried to latch on, but never seemed to be able to stay on. I had read stories of mom's having so much trouble due to breast size. This was a lifesaver. I have actually used this throughout the entire time I've been nursing my daughter. Thank you Medela!

It helps me breastfeed without pain. My babies are bad latchers and this gets most of the nipple and areola in their mouths. I'm not sure if it comes bigger than the 27mm but I wish it did since the 27mm is a bit small for me but it's bearable. I recommend to get it for the first couple of weeks because they will hurt while trying to figure out the best way to nurse.

This helped me get over the initial pain of breastfeeding. I do wish they made a size large, but notwithstanding, the medium worked and helped alot. I don't have the inverted nipples or active flow probs that the package says, but I think these are helpful for ANY new mom adjusting to the pain of breastfeeding (anyone who says it shouldn't hurt at the beginning is a liar - It takes several weeks to stop hurting.)
