The Nursing Mother’s Place is a comprehensive lactation center conveniently located in Matthews, Huntersville and Charlotte Presbyterian Hospitals. A satellite office is also located at Matthews Children’s Clinic and our boutique, “A Woman’s View”, specializes in nursing products, nursing bras, and baby wear. We offer in- and out-patient consultations with lactation consultants and offer rental of Medela breast pumps and scales.
The Nursing Mother’s Place lactation consultants provide personal counseling and support to mothers, from before birth to throughout the entire breastfeeding experience. They are experts in counseling, teaching, and problem-solving and are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
Our goal is to be a one-stop shop for a new mom who can be overwhelmed with a new baby. Moms say having assistance with nursing, bra fittings, pumps and products available at one location is convenient and “invaluable after the birth of a new baby”.
