Certified Nursing Center - New Baby Products
New Baby Products is a full-line specialty juvenile products retailer. We carry nursery furniture, bedding, car seats, strollers, skin care products, carriers, highchairs, feeding accessories, children’s clothing, maternity clothing, toys, and more. Despite the vast variety of products, our 2 stores are not overwhelmingly large. One showroom totals 10,000 square feet between 2 buildings while the other showroom is 11,000 in one building. We also have a 9,000 square foot warehouse at the second location.
We are family owned and operated and have been for the last 38 years. New 
Baby Products is currently run by the second and third generations with input from the first generation. The fourth generation of New Baby Products family members can often be seen running around the store and playing.
We are a family that loves our business and the customers we serve. We have a great relationship with our staff, our customers, and our sales reps, and our manufacturers. For more information on New Baby Products, check out the cover story in this September’s issue of Kids Today Magazine!
The Certified Nursing Center has been a “perfect fit” for our store. As a full-service specialty retailer, we offer only the best products and customer assistance. While many stores have nursing accessories, few have a full range to help any mom right when she needs it. This is KEY to any mom who has just delivered and is beginning the breastfeeding process.
We also offer Certified Medela nursing bra fittings. This, coupled with Certified Medela training, allows us to insure that every mom has exactly what she needs so that there is no guess work or returning of products. This also eliminates confusion and frustration for newly nursing moms which can lead to better success in breastfeeding! (This, in turn, helps build on to our relationship with customers and reaffirm our foundation of trust!)
Since we’ve had the Certified Nursing Center in place in our store, we’ve seen increases in several areas. We are selling more products, of course, but we’re also seeing people asking more questions, more moms leaving with the right size bras, and our staff being able to better serve our customers’ needs. Our staff is far more confident in selling the full line of Medela products.
We also look forward to the purchasing perks that will come with the Medela Certified Nursing Center. Our store and Medela will find specials and promotions to be mutually beneficial in increasing sales and profits. It is my understanding, also, that we’ll have priority status as a retailer listed in the Breastfeeding Network which will give us great exposure to nursing moms.
We have, thus far, thoroughly enjoyed our status as a Medela Certified Nursing Center. We look forward to continuing a prosperous relationship with Medela for many years to come!
