Who We Are:
Becoming Mothers, Boulder ’s “go-to place for new and expecting families,” blends the elements of an inviting, upscale maternity boutique with the practical resources of a lactation, birth, and parenting center. This special time in your life can be an overwhelming adventure, but we offer a comfortable environment that prides itself on having items that make mothers (and fathers!) confident in their new parenting role.
What We Do:
Our knowledgeable staff provides you with 100% attention and we offer our customers a truly personal shopping experience. All staff members are well trained in all the unique aspects of our business. We all have the expertise to help you find a breastpump that will work for your needs, conduct nursing bra fittings, assist you with basic lactation questions, or even help you find the perfect outfit for your shower. Should you need expert advice regarding specific breastfeeding issues, Stephanie Moore, owner of Becoming Mothers and IBCLC Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse, schedules home visits to address your individual concerns. (Consultation fee does apply.) We rent Medela® Hospital-Grade breastpumps and sell the complete family of Medela® Personal Use breastpumps. We also have a cozy rocking chair and baby-weigh scale you can use for pre-and post-nursing weight checks and are welcome to drop in and use whenever you like.

She has also assisted me with print material design and promotional campaigns. Whenever there has been an opportunity for innovation or modification, Kimberly has offered her support and guidance.
Becoming Mothers' staff is very successful in converting mothers who are using previously owned breastpumps to "original" users; this is largely because of their understanding of the equipment, breastfeeding, and "best practices"..
