I have to disagree with the previous reviewer. I found this sleep bra to be really comfortable and convenient for night time. I wouldn't try to wear it during the day, as it really isn't made for that (as the person before me said, there's no way to be discreet about nursing pads with the thin material), and doesn't provide the support I would need during the day. But for its purpose, it is wonderful.

I wear a 42DDD bra and ordered the XL sleep bra. I find it is the most comfortable thing EVER! It is not made for daytime wear as its not meant to be super supportive, but I still wear it around the house every day and night. I did have to eventually order a couple more but that is because I wear and wash it so often. It is very easy to just pull it aside for feedings that once my girl hit around 9 months old, she could pull it aside herself to nurse :-) I will continue to buy this bra even after i'm done nursing, just to wear on my days off around the house. Thank you Medela for all your wonderdful products.

I totally disagree with the first comment. I first bought this bra when I was pregnant with my first son almost 4 years ago. The elastic part of it is comfortable. Four years later the elastic is still intact even though I have been using it every day for the past 4 years. Medela sleeping bra is way better compare to the sleeping bra that I bought from motherhood. I now have a second child and still use the first medela sleeping bra that I have and ordered another one to have a spare I can use when the other one is in the laundry.

I disagree with the previous negative review. I am a 34 DD and I tried this bra on in the store over my nursing tank top with breast pads before purchasing a medium. I have washed and dried (on low) the bra and it is in great condition. This bra is 100% cotton with minimal elastic, so I wouldn't jog in it, but I do wear it at home day or night with breast pads every time. I use the Medela breast pads which I find to be discreet with all clothing because of the natural fit. This sleep bra is worth the money and the comfort, believe me it was a challenge finding any nursing bras to fit a 34 DD because few bras are made in that size. This bra fits the bill.

This is the worst bra I have tried by far. It almost seems like Medela never thought to actually have a woman try it on before selling it. Seriously! I can't imagine this bra fitting a human being. The actual chest area fits ok (although good luck trying to be discreet about nursing pads and nipples...the fabric is thin, cheap and gross), but the back is where all of the problems are. You know how a normal bra fits in the back, where the elastic bottom lays mid-back? With this bra, there is not enough fabric in the back. The elastic lays WAY too high, and ends up laying right where your shoulder blades are. And I am a 34c. For those of you who have even bigger breasts, I can only imagine the problem magnifies. At first I ordered a small, and thought surely I just ordered the wrong size...Medela has such a great reputation throughout the nursing community...had to be my mistake, right? So I then ordered a medium, and even after that ordered a large...same exact issue! This problem cannot be overlooked because it is so uncomfortable and so ill-fitting. It feels like you were getting dressed and forgot to pull the bra down and just left it sitting half way up your back. Medela—I love your pumps and other nursing accessories, but I am so disappointed by this bra! Please pull this product and fix it so that women like me, who automatically trust your brand and order your products first, do not have to run around finding a replacement for this mockery of a bra after just birthing a child!

I completely agree! Plus I have to wear it inside out because the seams are very uncomfortable. Still searching for one more comfortable.

I agree with the size concerns. I bought a LARGE on Amazon and it was too small and rode up at the back. My size is usually 34-36C/D. I am by no means large. My clothes are usually small/medium. I then purchased a XL and this fit. So if your not tiny how do you fit into this bra? Medela you really need to look at resizing this product. $20 is a lot to pay to essentially throw in the rubbish. The fabric is thin and flimsy but this does not bother me as much as the size.

I agree with the sizing, but otherwise I think that this bra is a great product. It is so comfortable I never want to take it off. However, the sizing is a real issue. I am normally a 34-36 A/B. My cup size dramatically increased with pregnancy and even more with nursing, but this is typical for all women. I am wearing a size large and could not be comfortable with anything smaller. Perhaps the sizes need to be adjusted, and maybe there could be more made available (perhaps changing the existing S size to an XS and going up to an XXL, for example). Otherwise I am VERY happy with this product - I am planning on purchasing two more just to have them available when I need them! (oh, and as an afterthought - yes, nipples and breast pads DO show through this thin fabric, but this is meant to be a sleep bra, so I do not consider that to be a problem with the product.)

With tranditional sizing its bound to not fit everyone. But I'm a 36DD and it fit me just fine.
