Decided to try out the battery pack today to see how it worked compared to wall adapter in the event that I would need to pump on the road or during a power outage. At first the power was about the same as if I had the pump plugged into wall as the session continued the suction started to get weak so I turned up the dial on my pump in style. On the second session I had to start the session on a way higher setting than I would normally, and again had to increase setting as the session continued. I do not feel that I was able to express as much milk as if I had used wall adapter. Overall I can say it would work well enough to get me through a power outage or a few pumping sessions while away from wall outlet but would not recommend for every session use as the batteries would get pretty expensive.

I've been having the same issue and from what I've been reading, these battery packs are 12V and the In-Style pump should only be used with a 9V adapter so that's why it seems to not work as well. They make 9V and 12V car lighter adapters and see if the 9V works better.
