Rattles & Rhymes, located in Athens Georgia, opened in 2002. Owners Maxine and Joe Guerrera started with a modest 1600 sq ft full service baby store. The online store was launched in 2004, and offers a Baby Registry. In 2007, Rattles & Rhymes expanded again in to their new location with 6500 sq ft. Currently the store has 10 employees.

 

Rattles & Rhymes philosophy is to provide a stress free environment in which new parents can talk with a knowledgeable selling staff. Training is a key part of the company’s success. Maxine makes sure that all employees take advantage of product training seminars and factory tours

 

Rattles & Rhymes works closely with the local Hospitals and lactation consultants to ensure that nursing moms have the necessary products. Rattles & Rhymes also collects donations for Breast Cancer awareness.

 

As a member of Baby Furniture Plus, Maxine continues networking with other specialty stores to share and gain knowledge to help grow her business.
