A Nurturing Moment is a Maternity and Breastfeeding Boutique located in Huntsville, AL. Founded in 2005 by Michele Trossclair, it has become Huntsville’s premier resource for breastfeeding mothers.  The present owner, Glenni Lorick, has been an IBCLC since 1996. She loves working with moms and babies to help them achieve a successful breastfeeding experience.

At A Nurturing Moment we offer the following services:
• Childbirth and Breastfeeding Classes
• Support groups for nursing mothers as well as for expectant moms
• Bra fitting by certified professionals
• In-home and in-office lactation consultation services
• Breastpump and baby scale rentals
• The areas widest assortment of accessories, supplies and clothing for nursing mothers
• Baby slings and instruction in sling wearing
• Workplace lactation implementation services

Located adjacent to Crestwood Hospital, we provide breastpump rental for Crestwood patients. Mothers can have a pump delivered to their room before discharge is they wish.

We also provide services for low-income mothers. All in-store consultations are offered on a sliding fee scale so that no mother will ever be turned away for inability to pay. Our Bosom Buddies program encourages customers to bring in gently used nursing bras to receive a discount on any current purchase. These bras are made available to mothers who are on the WIC program. Another unique service we offer is to Spanish-speaking mothers. Because Glenni is bilingual, she is able to offer consultations in English or Spanish.
