About Us
The Lactation Center is located in Methodist Women's Center, a department of Methodist Healthcare System.  There are 15 IBCLC and 1 IBCLC (Candidate) on staff to provide both inpatient and outpatient services, free of charge, to families within the community. The outpatient services are available to any woman in the community which includes consultations, phone consultation for questions, Weigh to Grow Station, breastfeeding classes and retail items and breastfeeding support products in the retail center, The Stork's Nest. The retail items in the Stork's Nest range from nursing bras, camisoles, special feeding devices, breast pump replacement parts and variety of breast pumps. Methodist Women's Center also is a breast pump rental station.
