A Mother’s Gift at University Community Hospital is proud  to offer Medela products in our store. We are confident they are the best nursing products on the market and we know that Medela customer service stands behind each and every product line. Our staff is fully trained and competent to explain the uses and purposes of all Medela items and ready to suggest what might work best with each mother/baby pair.

We have certified bra fitters available every day for your convenience. We are exclusive to the Medela Symphony rental and Pump in Style Advanced retail breastpumps. We will be happy to show you how to use any product and are always available to answer questions. Our store provides a relaxing and welcoming place for pumping or feeding your baby. We consistently provide top quality service with our well-trained staff of consultants.

About Us
The Women’s Center at University Community Hospital supports women in their choice to breastfeed their babies. A Mother’s Gift provides a comprehensive one-on-one program that will aid you in successful breastfeeding and help you develop confidence in your ability to nurture your baby. A Mother’s Gift is staffed by registered nurses who have experience in maternal-child nursing and are internationally board certified in human lactation. They work closely with you and your physician to assist you in achieving your personal breastfeeding goals. A Mother’s Gift was developed to guide and support you and your baby in your breastfeeding experience.

A Mother’s Gift offers:
• Bedside, Outpatient and telephone consultations
• Certified bra fittings and sales
• Free schedule weight checks
• Breastfeeding supplies
• Breast pump rentals and sales
• Prenatal breastfeeding classes (highly recommended)
• Weekly New Mother’s Support Group
• Clothing designs for nursing mothers

Services provided by A Mother’s Gift Lactation Support Center are available to patients of The Women’s Center as well as new mothers throughout the Tampa Bay area. We are here to help you provide your baby with breastmilk for as long as you choose to do so.
