Question - What are your favorite features of Freestyle and how would each of them change your pumping experience?
Answer - Where milk really comes from.
Most kids think that milk comes from cows but not my two-year-old niece. When asked where milk comes from, Sophia exclaims, “From Aunt Shelle!” After surprising me one day while pumping, my proud niece thinks I’m a miracle worker.
My ability to provide my baby with breastmilk has been nothing short of a miracle with the help of Medela! My love for Medela began three months ago when our newborn was sent to the NICU after his lungs began to fail. While watching my infant fight for his life, I felt very helpless, but nurses encouraged me I COULD help by pumping. The hospital’s preferred pump was a Medela!
I was so amazed when my milk supply came in that I took pictures of my first filled containers! Thank you Medela for making me feel like a mother when I could not hold my sweet baby in my arms. Our angel is now home and weighing in at 17 pounds! He LOVES mommy’s milk!
I believe that life begins with a baby not ends. With the Freestyle Pump, I don’t have to lose my identity in my efforts to be an amazing mother. I am a woman on the go. I am a self-employed graphic designer and public speaker. My weekly schedule is very unpredictable and is not always conducive to pumping which has definitely affected my milk supply.
