Question - What would you do as a new mom with an extra 20 minutes in your day?
Answer - One more thing to be thankful for.
I am a wife, Field Rep, student, and excited first time mommy-to-be all in one. So as you can imagine, I am very busy and always on the go. I love to be organized and quick on my feet. As I begin to think of all the preparations I need for my new baby, I realized it starts from the delivery room. I want to be able to give my baby the best. After I have my baby, I want to breastfeed right away. But as talk to more and more moms, I learned that I will have to be ready in case my new baby may not latch on or there are other difficulties while trying to breast feed my baby at first. Having a Medela Freestyle will ease my worries and allow me to still be able to feed my new little baby nutritious breast milk. Not only is breast milk best for baby, but affordable and convenient. I could use an extra 20 minutes and the money I save to shop for something else. My mom breast fed me for 18 months and I know with the help of the Medela Freestyle, I would be able to breastfeed for a long period of time as well.
The one pound Medela Freestyle is like a dream, it’s super light weight will allow me to take it along just about anywhere I go. The Medela Freestyle will make pumping less of a chore and will help me get to a great start with my new baby. This pump is just what I need to allow me to keep my milk supply up with the busy schedule I have. I just love the idea of more milk in less time, a pump session timer, a rechargeable battery, a memory button, and of course the hands free capability that the Medela Freestyle has to offer - oh, the joy! With this pump, I would be able to pump at work and relieve myself from the painful breast milk engorgement that I hear so much about. With all the great qualities the Medela Freestyle has, pumping hands-free will give me a good extra 20 minutes to make dinner, do the laundry, my school work, wash the dishes, take care of my pets, get ready for the next day, but most of all, spend precious time with my husband and new baby.
I would love to see my husband and first time daddy hold and feed our baby with bottled breast milk. He would be able to get involved and connect with our new baby in a wonderful and intimate way. I’ve always have been into charity and helping others, so I’m also looking toward donating extra breast milk to milk banks which help the babies that have food allergies and cannot drink formula. I cannot wait until my new baby arrives and having a Medela Freestyle Breast Pump by my side will give me one more thing to be thankful for.
